Great experience here! Staffs are very friendly.
It is not handicapped friendly as it has three floors with no elevator. The only option to avoid stairs is a first floor room and there is only one door you can access on the first floor to avoid stairs. Unfortunately, this door was frequently out of order. While the lobby is on the ground level if you enter through the lobby you have to go up stairs to the second level and then down more stairs to the first level. There is a laundry room that has three washers and one of them was out of order the entire duration of my stay.
Needless to say, I would not recommend. If I could give a rating of less than one star I would do it.
Lastly, DISH satellite is the cable TV provider and there service doesn’t even include all the major networks (CBS, NBC, ABC). ABC was missing from the lineup along with other channels that you would attribute to a basic cable service so if you are confined to the room it is not a pleasant stay!
At check in we were told that breakfast was available in the lobby each day. This consisted of what we were told was coffee that didn’t taste like any coffee I had ever drank and mini muffins in cellophane bags.
I came to check in at 2pm to find out I couldn't check in until 3pm and there was nothing they could do and the front desk lady young black woman with poof and pink lipstick said every word with an attitude, I left and came back BEFORE 6pm to find a new lady who said it was her first day and was to inform me they don't do breakfast as advertised and that they would set out a muffin if we wanted one and come to find out they gave MY room away that I had already paid for and told me if I wanted to stay I would have to pay extra for another room...ON THEIR MISTAKE. I paid and got into the room and the best was FILTHY hair all in the bed and pillows the laminate flooring was Sticky and you could tell it was not cleaned and the bathroom the toilet has old urine on it and on the floor and the bathtub had black hair all over the bottom and old yellow soap marks I could wipe off. I was DISGUSTED. I called the front desk about a refund and the new lady hung up on me and I went to the office myself and her reason was they forgot to clean the room...i know it was not her fault but the cleaning people have one job... not a good experience will NEVER return. I will give them a 5 star on my refund.
It was okay for the price. Rooms were nicely upgraded other than the appliances.
Definitely not a good hotel. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL
I just had the experience of staying at this establishment for one month only because I had to prepay for a long term stay or I would have left sooner. Plus I really wanted to give it a fair chance. First let me say that the employees are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. However, the facility itself needs some updates and renovation. The rooms are drab and dingy. In addition, there was a bucket in the hall to collect water dripping from an air conditioning vent. There was also a chair under the hall water fountain with a towel draped over it to catch dripping water. I was plagued by gigantic roaches with almost daily sightings (both dead and alive) toward the end of my stay and I HATE BUGS! I was told these are water bugs which may be explained by all the leaking water. One night during my stay my son was in town overnight so I had the occasion to let out the sofa sleeper. The mattress was so filthy you wouldn’t want to sit on it much less sleep on it. I won’t go into detail about the dried body fluids it contained let’s just suffice it to say it was disgusting!
It's like a dorm for grown ups. No house keeping. Ask for towels at the front desk. The staff was super friendly and the price was great.
