I did not purchase anything from the center because I too thought the prices were way too high.
20171018 - I found a quick access to this craft's center and after a short walk from the Old Trace parking lot on the Natchez Trace, I found myself at the Mississippi Craft Center. While I was browsing the center, I over heard another would be customer say "You have a lot of wood bowls, but they are really high priced. I can get the same quality bowls online at..."
This place is not for everybody. It is a very nice building filled with supposedly hand made knickknacks. Most are rather expensive. In my mind I am thinking that these items are the way the items you see at garage sales look when they are new. Others in our party are enjoying the visit and appreciating the items in a different light.
Love this place! The gift shop has so many unique gifts. Perfect for everyone on your Christmas list!

This is a very nice craft center. They have very nice hand made items, artisan type. Prices are fair depending on what you want, just keep in mind they're artisan made.
