We took our high school band there for a picnic lunch before coming home. Everyone enjoyed the scenery and the space the kids had to let loose and have a great time.
Beautiful location! Great place to spend with the family. The dog park is my favorite feature. Parking is free on weekdays, $5 on weekends.

Plenty shaded picnic tables with grills available. Plenty open grass areas for frisbee or playing ball. Lots of parking. There is an up-to-date jungle gym for the kids. Excellent views and a fun place to hang out or fish. Walking/biking trail is wide and in good shape.
