The catfish was very good and the tartar sauce was unique and a favorite for our table. The sides were good and the options on the menu are wide.
However, the grits were some of the best we have ever had. You gotta give them a try!
Very good family owned dining establishment. Cross between self serve, and restaurant. You place your order at the counter when you get there; but then you get your own drink, and take your number to your table. Sort of same concept as Panera, except at Primos, they do bring your food to your table.
Great lunch today ! Fried chicken breast, butter peas, rice & gravy and cornbread. Splenda tea to drink. Outstanding service. Great, friendly staff.
What can I say? This place is a staple of southern diner food in the city of Jackson/Ridgeland. I try to be objective when reviewing it and not get swept away in rose-tinted nostalgia -- and you know what? The place is still great with the food, service, and ambience. It was a neat 1950's retro mod design too.
Great comfy place. Good prices. Homemade bakery items. Best grits in town. Will be back.
